His career path continued as the Director of The Recovery Unit in Bolivar, TN and The Jackson Area Council on Alcoholism. Butch began his counseling career 1989 while working for the state’s first Intensive Outpatient Programs at the Jackson Counseling Center in Jackson, TN.

After receiving a bachelor’s degree from Lambuth University in sociology/psychology he went on to receive his MBA from Union University with a focus in Organizational Behavior. Butch was born and raised in Jackson Tennessee.
