If not go back and review the steps above.

If it is there, congratulations! You’ve installed your first mod. Now, there should be an SML Helper dropdown, don’t worry about any of the settings inside the dropdown. Once you do that you launch the game and go to the settings and then the Mod tab. Now inside the Qmods folder, there should only be Modding Helper, delete the Zip you no longer need it. Once you have it downloaded, the thing that downloaded is called a Zip file, double click on the zip and it should open up, once it’s opened drag the Modding Helper folder into the Qmods folder. To download SMLHelper you go to the mod page (), go to files, and then click Manual download.
#WANDERBOTS SUBNAUTICA MODS INSTALL#
So you install it like you would any other mod and then other mods you install use it without you having to do anything.

Launch the game from steam and if you go into the settings of subnautica and there is a mods area, you've installed it before correctly. It has no standalone UI Besides when you initially installed it. Think of Qmods as more of a Mod Loader than a mod manager.
#WANDERBOTS SUBNAUTICA MODS HOW TO#
Here's how to manually install it, that means on download links you will have to click the manual option rather than the vortex option: I agree with Coops, Vortex should not be used when modding subnautica, it makes things more complicated, and the only real benefit is being able to turn things on and off with a button.ĮDIT: All the folder stuff is done inside of file explorer Sorry, someone is going to read this and think "what an moron", but I don't see what I'm missing/ Originally posted by )o(Analog:How do I load Qmod manager? That is something I saw when searching but I already have a QMods directory where every thing is in there, and there is no exe to load, I even see the "Modding Helper" directory that was SML Helper, but there is nothing in there I can launch either.
